This beautiful home all ready for Christmas is in Puglia, Italy where I went for a great friend's wedding last year. Such a lovely region, if you ever go stay in a trulli (like this!).

Snow was forecasted last night here, but alas, when I woke there were no pretty white dustings of snow to be seen. However all is not lost. I can mentally transport myself to this wonderful Whitepod in Switzerland instead!

Hejsan hejsan! There's a freezing cold wind rattling at the windows here this morning. So, I thought we could transport ourselves to California (nice thought huh?!) and the home of Morgan Satterfield of The Brick House who has taken inspiration from Danish design among other things.

I like this whole Christmas display. Most of the items are from IKEA. But the pallet table was the piece that really caught my eye. SUCH a great DIY project. Find a large wooden pallet, paint white and attach wheels, simple and yet cool industrial. Where's my tool kit....

If this morning's hotel wasn't quite your thing, how about this one? This is a snap shot from The Exchange hotel in Amsterdam. where each room is designed by a student from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. Talk about staying in style!
