Beautiful photography inspiration From Lean Timms

I love taking photos (just ask my family - in their opinion I take way too many!) how about you? I find photography is one of those hobbies where the more you learn about it, the more complicated it becomes!). I think that's why I admire the work of professional photographers so much. One of my favourites is Lean Timms, a freelance shutterbug based in Canberra, Australia. Driven by natural light, unique composition and capturing a sense of a place, her love of 'nature, design, travel and the slower moments in life' shines through in her beautiful travel, food, lifestyle and interior photography. Here's a small selection of some of the incredible photographs featured in her portfolio!

Morning! Today I thought we could dine out on the fabulous portfolio of Swedish photographer Sara Landstedt. Sara is a self confessed 'happy, laugh-out-loud' person who finds it hard to sit still and absolutely loves her work. Her portfolio is full of inspiring interior pictures which she has taken for magazines and other clients as well as portraits and commercial images in collaboration with stylist Johanna Pilfalk. Here are a few examples of her wonderful interior shots.

An inspiring interior portfolio

It's Friiiiiday! Yay! Here's a mix of lovely interior images from the portfolio of New York based photographer Emily Johnston Anderson. I often photograph spaces from my home and know just how difficult it is to get lighting right (I never do, but I'm working on it!). I love the way Emily plays with the light and uses items in the foreground to add depth. I have a lot to learn from her photos!

The new issue of Covet Garden is out - woohoo! Take a look at some fabulous homes from the latest issue here. This is a perfect example of how a home can look lovely even if there are children's toys everywhere. This shop is so cute. I love that you can get an illustration of your little one made by the talented shop owner and she has the most lovely blog too. I recently recieved a lovely deer motif storage sack from SackMania and now I see they have the cutest birdy cushion.

Interior by a Stockholm based photographer

Evening all! You may have seen these beautiful interior pictures by Stockholm based photographer Sanna Lindberg before, but I just simply can't see enough of this wonderful home. The owners have the most amazing taste, all their furniture is so beautiful and interesting and I love the touches of pastel.

PS the bedroom colours are also beautiful, not a palette I would normally put together but they work so well. I always think that people who can put the unexpected together are the most talented of all.
