A beautiful white apartment with notes of grey, green and brass

Normally I try to select the best pictures from a home tour so you can get an idea of the space. Today I had no option but to show the complete home. Every. Single. Angle. Because, to me, this Swedish home in Gothenburg is simply beautiful! Grey, green and brass, what a fabulous colour combination and so very now!

Wow, what an incredible space, don't you think?! Can you believe it's actually for sale....Gothenburg anyone?!

It definitely calls for a what's what list (I wish I knew where every singe item is from but sadly I don't so we'll need to work together on this one). Here's my round up: HAY DLM side table, Grey lamp from IKEA, Love this and this cushion with triangles. Pia WallĂ©n cross blanket. Thonet 214 and 209 chair. Golden Bell light. 'D' and 'X' posters from here. Source a vintage black leather sofa on Lauritz. The fireplace is a classic Swedish 'Kakelugn'. Is there anything you recognise and love?

Have a lovely day!

Cool grey and brass in a Gothenburg home

I was overwhelmed with the popularity of the swedish apartment with a mid-century touch featured in Monday's post- especially on Facebook! This Gothenburg home channels a different trend: the combination of light grey and brass. It's a completely different style but very cool too. I've been coveting a brass faucet with a light grey marble kitchen surface in my kitchen, what do you think? I absolutely love the rest of the space too.

What do you think? Are you a fan of this look? Anything in particular you love about this home? I love it. I guess my only concern is that it could become outdated quickly.

For more brass-in-the-home inspiration it's definitely work checking out this oh so stunning home and this very cool Norwegian work space.

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Idha Lindhag for Svenskt Tenn

Morning! If you spend too much time looking at interior design pictures like I do, you'll have definitely seen some of Swedish photographer Idha Lindhag's images. Here's a shoot she did for Svenskt Tenn, a famous interior shop in Stockholm founded in 1924. I love, love LOVE these pictures.

Idha Lindhag for Svenskt Tenn
Svenskt Tenn has a distinct style with a combination of 'Viennese elegance and Swedish functionalism'. The webshop is so worth checking out - if only for the 2356 brass ceiling lamp.....to channel the brass touches in this home above. Any other brass tips for 2012?
