my scandinavian home: Monday DIY - the simplest, cutest idea ever.

Hello Monday! I hope you had a great weekend? If you're looking for a simple way to update your home this week or even just something creative to do, how about this incredibly simple yet cool textile / wallpaper project? It's the brainchild of Frk Hansen who was inspired by Ferm Living's beautiful half-moon wallpaper. Frk Hansen used a fabric marker, textile paint, and a potato to create the monochrome design. Yes, a potato! I'm on it!

Pretty cool project don't you think? You could always swap the half moons for hearts like in the image below (or buy very cute heart stickers from Ferm Living).

And while we're on the subject of children's rooms (although even as an adult I could definitely have those half-moons and hearts on my wall, couldn't you?!), I'm extremely excited to introduce my new sponsor Babyssimo who sells the most cute children's things ever. The sleepy bear (or whatever it is) is even TOO cute! I remeber cutting potato-stamps in my primary school.

I used to love making potato stamps and have never taught my children to do the same. Thank you for this posting and the pretty photos, I think we will do this too!

Children bedrooms are always cute. This is a great room design for a girl as most girls love pink colors. My child is obsessed from pink, she wants everything in pink - when we start from the pencils, to the towels, bed linen, toys, books... everything you can imagine.
