Cold on the outside, cosy on the inside!

The Christmas count down has begun. I'm hoping for snow on the outside, and roaring log fires and glowing candle light on the inside! These images set the perfect tone of my ultimate Scandinavian Christmas!

Notice how I snuck in an image of my little 4 year old making snow lanterns with Pappa :) Christmas is all about family after all.

What are you most looking forward to about Christmas?

    1. Snow lanterns were new to me when I first move to Sweden. My Swedish husband's a pro at them however! You make about 10 hand-sized snow balls and arrange them in a circle and on top of each other a bit like if you're making an igloo. Then you place a tea light inside and light it. The balls will protect the candle from the wind and the whole lantern lights up with a warm glow! They're so pretty and can be arranged along the path leading up to your door to welcome Christmas guests :)

  10. Look at that log burner! I love the mis-matching ikea chairs, so....un-ikea! I have to admit, I never used to like the idea of using ikea, but since I saw this video on how to utilise space in a small kitchen (mine is ridiculously small) it completely changed my perspective. I love ikea now.

Most looking forward to at Christmas? Mine is always the gift wrapping! I swear I was put on this earth to gift wrap! But most of all I love pulling the crackers at the table, wearing silly hats and reading the worst jokes ever. So much fun!
