This time of the year can get a little crazy - don't you think? If you're looking for a little respite, you're in the right place this morning! This charming Swedish apartment in the heart of Gothenburg features beautiful details - including original wood flooring, a fab tiled floor in the hallway and scalloped internal windows - and the best news? There's not a Christmas decoration in site. Well, actually, there's one star light - but you know.... it's so pretty it could totally be up all year round. So if you're looking for your moment of calm today, step this way...!
Such a lovely space, don't you think?
There are so many fab pieces dotted around too. Here's a quick round-up of some of my favourites:
1. Klong Patina oil lamp 2. Skultuna brushed flower pot 3. Standing monkey lamp 4. Era chair with cane seat 5. Dustpan and brush,
And just how pretty are the three houseplants in the window? We're seeing more and more of the Coleus - I love how the purple colour catches the light! Here's a quick guide if you're looking to create the same look and feel:
1. Coleus 2. Fiddle Leaf Fig 3. Chinese Money Plant (this last one is such a great plant, I've got one at home and it continuously grows new shoots which can be repotted - it seems to be really easy to keep alive too - perfect!).
Is there anything you love about this home?
Have a great start to the week!

This is a beautiful place! I especially love the bluish-green walls in the bedroom. It's very calming!
ReplyDeleteI love the bluish-green too - so lovely!
DeleteLove this house. We keep telling ourselves that we should just move to Sweden for a few years.
ReplyDeleteYay, come and join us!
DeleteThanks for the plant info!! Im always looking for nice new plants!
ReplyDeletePleasure! I'm always looking for new plants myself and I love this injection of purple we've been seeing in homes lately.
DeleteLove the old doors into the bedroom, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think the windows are my favourite things about this home (it was clever of the owners / interior designer to paint the bedroom blue as these emphasises the detail too).
DeleteJust lovely! I especially love the touch of green. Plants everywhere! Now if only I could keep them thriving. . .
