Living spaces are diminishing in size as more of us choose to live in urban areas. With this, comes a flurry of new furniture specifically designed for smaller spaces. Swedish estate agent ESNY has recently released a series of teeny new 29 square metre (312 square foot) apartments. Styled to perfection, the spaces include slimmed down sinks, cabinets and side-tables and clever light filtering pieces such as mirrors and glass walls. Great inspiration for anyone looking to decorate an apartment with limited space (or moving to Stockholm for that matter!) Oh and I love the blue, grey, black and white palette - so beautiful, don't you think?
For sale through ESNY.
I wish I'd seen this bathroom before I designed our tiny downstairs one, could have used a few ideas! And that sofa is FAB, don't you think? (This one is similar - just saying!)!!
Is there anything you love in particular about this space?
Get the look: sitting room - round mirror, brass Skultuna Lily candlestick holders (they're a real Swedish classic), pick up a beautiful Beni Ourain rug here. Bedroom - snoopy lamp. Dining area: Skultuna candlesticks, The Poster Club sells nice prints with architect drawaings.
If you're loving the blue you might just want to check out this page (scroll passed this place if it comes up first!).
Have a lovely day!
PS Wonderful if you can let me know if your experiencing anything odd with the new design - would love to hear from you if so!

Those inky blue walls are stunning! This is the kind of home that could persuade me away from white and grey...
ReplyDeleteI love the inky blue too - so beautiful! Go for it!
DeleteLovely flats with so much space it seems unreal to me. I'm wondering where they keep all the stuff, shoes, clothes etc. :)
ReplyDeleteThat bathroom! I've just decided to put wall tiles like these without the overlaps, and now I'm not sure. The only bad thing about home interior design is that, at one point, you just have to make a choice even though there are so many wonderful possibilities.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when that happens - if it looks anything like this bathroom I'm sure it looks fab all the same! :)
DeleteThere's a good chance there's wardrobe space and I just didn't select those images - Swedes are in general very practical and think of everything (although often they do have less stuff).
