A Stockholm apartment with a touch of glam!

Do you find that often the best summer holidays turn out to be the ones on your doorstep? My family and I are on the Danish island of Anholt right now (OK, not exactly on our doorstep but near enough!). The sea is crystal clear and the island is circled with a ring of white, powdery sand - just beautiful! Don't be fooled by the water though, it's a little fresh!  We're heading North today to the Gothenburg archipelago (one of my favourite places - if you haven't been, it's a must!). But before we head off I wanted to check in and share this lovely Stockholm apartment with you which has been designed by Mainstreet. It's the glam 1920's art deco touch that caught my eye. Perfect inspiration to kick off the week?!

Mainstreet

Kind of lovely don't you think? Loving the touches of brass! And that window above the door?!

Could you imagine knocking about in this city pad?

Get the look....this is a great round brass coffee table (this HAY table is also very cool), source a Beni ourain rug here. This lamp with a touch of brass is a new favourite (and I love this round Tom Dixon tea light holder).

Since we're on holiday I'm planning on posting every other day this week, I hope that's OK? I've got two little girls and a man eagerly waiting in their swim gear, towels over shoulders.....

Have a great start to the week!

PS Don't forget to to enter my instagram give-away to win a fresh white pure linen tablecloth and napkins!

  1. Hello, I'm redoing my sitting room nowadays and I was trying to figure out how to mix modern furniture in a 1930's flat. This is the answer I think I was looking for. Still hesitating on the colour of the new couch, now I'm settling for a charcoal one with my cream walls. Thanks for your every day post that I look forward to see every morning
