Win a fab &tradition milk table lamp

Thank you to everyone who entered this give-away. I am delighted to announce Andreaa Gabriela as the winner of this fab lamp. Andreaa, please send me a mail so Occa-Home can send it out to you.

To light up (eh hem!) St Valentine's Day, I've teamed up with fab online interior design store Occa-Home to offer you the chance to win a Milk Table Lamp. Designed by NORM architects for Danish brand &Tradition, this lamp is a particular favourite of mine as it's created using ancient Nordic traditional materials: wood and glass. Not only that but it can be placed anywhere in the home (here's an example of it in action) and said to 'light up both body and soul' (oh, yes!).  It's one of many utterly fab Scandinavian pieces sold by Occa-Home and I'm so excited to offer you the chance to win it this weekend! Find out how to win below.

How to enter:

1. Visit the Occa-Home online interior design store and take a look around.
2. Comment below which product you like the most and why (see my personal product pick here).

And that's it! The competition is open to everyone until Sunday, 15th February 2015, Midnight GMT. The winner will be announced on the evening of Monday 16th February 2015 so make sure you pop by to see if it's you!

Terms & Conditions
You must be age of majority in your country of residence. We are not responsible for any duties, import taxes that you may incur. Only 1 entry per person.

This post is brought to you in collaboration with Occa-Home.

Happy St Valentine's Day!

  123. I'm in love with old fashioned cuckoo clocks so am loving this clock: http://www.occa-home.co.uk/diamantini-domeniconi-chalet-clock - it's not a cuckoo, but has that same vibe that reminds me of the one we had when I was a kid.

  127. I've been in love with the milk lamp for years now - it would certainly make my bedside table look much more pretty and cosy! If I should pick something from the occa home website that wasn't the milk lamp, I would definitely choose Gubi's grasshopper lamp: http://www.occa-home.co.uk/gubi-grossman-grashoppa-floor-lamp

  138. I love the Waterford Mixology Mad Men Edition Circon Decanter with Gold Band
    Crystal glass decanter with gold stopper. I love it's elegant 1920's style with a contemporary vibe. I'm lucky to live in a 1923 house with a modern extension that is a great backdrop for a mix of vintage, new high street and the odd classic piece of designer furniture and lots of bits picked up on our travels. The lamp would fit in beautifully here too - fun, cute and quirky!

    (I'm loving your daily posts and hope you're enjoying full time blogging.)

  139. Eichholtz Tète á Tète Sofa - Tobacco Leather. Unusual adjustable sofa. That’s my choice!
    Link: http://www.occa-home.co.uk/eichholtz-tete-a-tete-sofa

    This is because:

    • Having Eichholtz’ sofa you need one furniture less. I need a piece of furniture that allows sitting and staring through a huge veranda-window, but also turning and watching tv that is hanging on a wall in front of the window. This one will do it! Otherwise I would need two sofas standing at each other… And a lot more space! I would say it is then really practical.
    • It is heavy in the classical style, but it still would fit many scandinavian interiors.
    • If it is possible to block the armrest half way so that it stays upright, during a party you could squeeze 4 people on it. Still, it takes only little space.
    • Last but not least. It allows new sitting settings. A couple could gaze into each other eyes and hold hands looking in different directions and being occupied with different things/having different perspectives. So it is a perfect valentine’s day furniture.

  142. Normann Copenhagen Tablo Table Large Black/Black

    Why?

    Because of the great shape - circle is the most democratic, geometric figure and a round table is an invitation to a dialogue: it doesn't make anyone extra special, and none needs to be worried about sharp angles.

    Because of its right size - it is as big as your favorite pet, which is always close enough to give it a nice stroke.

    Because of its convenience - it is an ideal choice for people who always like to have everything within arm's reach.

    Because of its deep colour - there is no other colour as unfathomable as black. You can explore it endlessly over a coffee, a book or when chilling out next to it on the couch.

  145. Innermost HiHo Rocking Chair - stylish rocking horse for grown ups (regardless of the name/description it recalls and is made of sheep)

    Reasoning:
    1) It would finally be one fun, cute and pretty thing that kids could envy the adults (it is said the children's version is coming very soon, still – after the one for adults!);

    2) There are at least two ways you can use it - you can sit forward and ride or alternatively turn around and relax back for a comfortable rocking chair experience;

    3) HiHo comes with practical removable covers made from natural sheepskin. This means you can keep it clean and hygienic;

    4) It is a great alternative to a swing, but it is not boring and the design remains very simple and clean.

    5) I imagine it must be very comfy and soothing;

    6) U can say many things about it, but you would never call it boring;

    7) I co-own a store with clothing. It would look great inside, it would focus the attention (hope not too much of it since it should leave some for our products). It would fit into the modern interior that we’ve just finished a few months ago. Also, I think it would calm down guys waiting for their ladies trying on clothes for hours… So they would make it little longer ;-)
