I hope you had a wonderful weekend? We've had real April showers here in Southern Sweden and as I write from my corner in a cafe by the sea this morning the rain is coming down in sheets outside, it's all very cosy! Indoors is the best place to be today - and I have just came across this little gem on Stadshem. This two room apartment is teeming with vintage finds and mid-century pieces. I love the white, black and cognac colour scheme too, very lovely.
I can't take my eyes of that black gloss Smeg fridge! Anything that catches your eye?
I'm a huge fan of cognac, it can add real warmth to a colour scheme. Some of my favourite colour combinations include the blue and cognac mix in this pretty Swedish home, monochrome and cognac in this stunning Danish home and the grey and cognac in this apartment.
Have a lovely Monday!
PS Thank you to the wonderful Krisp Interior for featuring an interview with me over the weekend, I really enjoyed taking part!

The cognac (love that word) Barcelona chair. Beautiful patina. Nice post. Even the word Cognac.... Warm, sweet, rich.
ReplyDeleteThat leather sofa looks so supple and comfy! We used to have a leather sofa but it was impossible to not slide off of, plus Fitz's nails used to scratch it up. xo
ReplyDeleteI wish I had taken these images but I cant take credit for them - they were taken by the talented guys at Stadshem who are selling the apartment. :)
ReplyDeleteCognac is such a warm and attracting hue! Especially combined with white, grey and black. Love small doses of it
ReplyDeleteI don't suppose anyone knows the source of the rug? I keep seeing (what looks like) the same rug and can't find it so my living room is currently being dominated by a purple monstrosity!
ReplyDeleteYes! it's the Björk rug by Design house Stockholm: http://www.designhousestockholm.com/collection/furniture/bjork.html I love it too. Sounds like a great replacement for your purple one!!
DeleteLooks so nice! I just love those vintage elements and leather.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love it! This has inspired me to do a complete makeover of my living room. I actually received a record player for my last birthday and wanted to make it more of a feature of my home. It's casing is a little different in colour to the one featured about (a bit like this one) http://goo.gl/cNSUl9 its a powder blue but still hoping to pull off a similar look as the above.
ReplyDeleteI really love your vintage interior! looks really awesome!
ReplyDeletewould you mind share where you got a coffee table from? I'm looking for similar one but couldn't find it! this one is something different!! Please share the information with me~ thank you!
