What would an alfresco themed blog week be without a nod to the outdoor shower? I've always wanted one and have visions of going for a morning swim at the beach before padding back to my summer cottage through the dunes and showering away the salt water and sand in the garden. I'd then start preparing the long lunch with family and friends....carried away...me?!
Do you have an outdoor shower? And let's be realistic here.....would you use one if you did? I'd love to say I would, but I'd also like to be the type of girl who takes a morning dip in the sea no matter the weather......

ReplyDeletewhat a great vision...
ReplyDeleteLots of shore homes near here have outdoor showers so you can take all the beach and sand off of you before you traipse it into the house. But even though they're outdoors, most have proper doors and enclosures on them, though your feet and head might peek out. I can't imagine being THIS brave!
ReplyDeletequé fantástica selección, me guardo algunas.

This is so lovely, what a summer dream.
ReplyDeleteI love outdoor showers! Tub outdoors too? Ok, I'll take it!!! Alfresco .. as long as I have a secured (electric fence? haha) around the property? Hmm, but what about helicopters? ... guess I can hear them coming so I can sink into the tub covered by bath-bubbles.
ReplyDeleteVancouver Island (in Canada) Is way way too cold to have an outdoor shower. I am too weak even to go into the ocean here.
ReplyDeleteWhere I grew up in Queensland(Australia) however I had many many showers outdoors. Most public beachs also have public outdoor showers. Some of them are really nice.
<3 !!! I visit your blog many times, is truly inspiring.
