It's impossible not to enjoy eating outdoors. Whether it's the secluded picnic for two or a party with friends on a colourful mix match of chairs, leaning precariously on the unlevelled grass (see the beautiful cottage interior
here).....I'm sure I'd be smiling throughout any of these lunches. The wine glasses might have something to do with it too....can I join?
What's your favourite way to eat outdoors?
PS As you know I'm currently on beautiful Mallorca for a week visiting family. Last night we broke away from the tapas and ate fish and chips on the beach with a glass of cava. It was lovely sitting watching the sunset over the bobbing yachts in the distance while the girls played in the sand.
Picnics are the best way to eat! I love eating breakfast outside, to me it means holidays! And I love picnics with piles of blankets, good food and drink :) Though picnics in the UK usually mean eating in the car, watching the rain!
ReplyDeleteI love eating outside with family and friends. It is really great idea to spend time together. :) But for the weather it is impossible:(
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a house with a back patio to live the whole summer there :D

DeleteThank you so much, alice katharina
Deleteoooh sounds like you're enjoying your holiday. Love a good meal on the beach and i dream of having a meal outside but that's hard to do when living in a high-rise in NYC! I'll settle for a picnic in central park.
ReplyDeletei LOVE eating outside; my least fave is picnicking = sitting on blanket ... but its still GREAT once in a white. My fave alfresco dining event was going to a beach restaurant in Aruba (dining w/our feet in the sand listening to waves) ... u can see pics here: www.adasinteriordesign.com/tasty-tuesday-beach-restaurant-in-aruba/
ReplyDeleteHummm... that table from Jose Villa seems perfect for me for a garden party with family and friends... Just the perfect idea for our house-warming in a few days.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
