For those of you who like the simple things in life, how about these pared-down Christmas trees? What I love about these is that the beauty is in the tree (or branch) itself and what you stand it in - whether that's a demi-john, crate, tin bucket or a sack rather than what you actually decorate it with.
What does your tree look like this year? Do you go for all singing, all dancing decorations or the simple scandinavian style like in these pictures? Perhaps you don't have a tree at all but opt for a more modern tree like in this
post?!
What I love most about
my tree this year is that we cut it down ourselves in the forest. Perhaps next year I'll go for something more asymmetrical and simple.......but I say that every year :)
The last one is really cute! I'd love to have a pared down tree but this year we're gonna have a silver/gold tree and I'd say it's also really nice! :)
ReplyDeleteme gusta el quinto. Como siempre austeridad ante todo.
ReplyDeleteI love simple trees like these but I can't help myself - I love to decorate a tree and couldn't stop at this stage!
ReplyDeleteLove all of these but not sure my boys would say the same!!x
ReplyDeleteso nice, i really love the first one with light stars

I usually think they can be very pretty, but some of these just look so sad and droopy! Very Charlie Brown-esque, haha. And wouldn't the candles be a total fire hazard? I know, I know, I'm being a total scrooge :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! The main reason I have probably not gone for a tree like this is my English family would look at it baffled and say 'when are you going to decorate your tree?'!
Deletei love all those trees :)
ReplyDeletei dont know what mine is called ;)
Your tree is so pretty! I love the gold star at the top.
DeleteMinimalism at it's finest. However, I do like your tree; some seasonal decorations always look lovely.
ReplyDeletepicture number 3 is gorgeous x
ReplyDeleteWe now own a fake tree, which I decorate with the crystal, silver and glass ornaments I have been collecting for almost 20 years. Sparkly but minimal at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love them!
ReplyDeleteI love all this simple trees that you showed us and tryed to persuede my boys for simplicity this year. But ofcourse that is mission impossible. Our Christmas tree is even more decorated this year. We had to put on the new and the old decoration :).
ReplyDeleteAs long as the kids are happy....I'll have to wait a few more years to get that white sofa and simple and cool decorations that i desire sooo much ;).
I really like your blog, it is a new one on my list of favorites.
What a lovely group to be in!
ReplyDeleteTree number two is from my living room and not from Remodelista, www.byfryd.com
Have a lovely day ❤
Hi Jeanette, thank you for letting me know - sorry about the incorrect credit. What a beautiful tree you had! I have updated the credit now. I love your blog by the way! Niki :)
DeleteThat mini tree is just lovely! I think I might have to try that next year. Maybe do tiny little crystals rather than candles.
