It's Friiiiiiiiiday, woohoo!! To celebrate let's go for a classic contemporary all white affair with this beautiful Gothenburg apartment built in 1939 and for sale via Alvhem (it's been a while since I've done a 'for sale in Sweden' post - at least 7 days...!). I spy Scandinavian designer pieces, mid century finds and vintage prints organised in the relatively small space of 39 metres square. I think the creative people at Alvhem who also own the shop in the last image, have done a fab job.

What do you think?
So that's it from me for this week, do you have any great plans for the weekend? Me, I'm off out with the girls tonight :) Oh and re-thinking a major room change in the house which requires lots of help from Pinterest of course! Have a lovely a couple of days and see you Monday!
Owners? Doesn't Alvhem stage and decorate all the apartments they have for sale?
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right! Just been back on their website - which I had only viewed the home itself and not the blurb about the company and realised it's a concept! Thanks for highlighting! It's pretty all the same though right?
DeleteMaybe that's why all these Swedish flats seem to have the same artworks and prints on the wall: the 1968 Moderna Warhol, the meow tiger,...
DeleteI was already wondering if everyone in Sweden has exactly the same taste. ;-)
Haha! Makes sense for apartments sold by Alvhem now at least!! :) Have a lovely weekend!
DeleteEspectacular, me encantaría vivir en un sitio así
ReplyDeleteSO beautiful, but now that I know the agency stages all these apartments it makes me feel better! Here I was thinking all these apartment owners had impeccable taste! Ha! I love each and every shot though. That kitchen looks so cosy. And I want to curl up and take a nap in that bedroom. Sigh. have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSuch a perfect little place. I love the little table in the kitchen - so sweet and charming.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous light what is coming from these two corner windows makes that little space so airy and light!

ReplyDeleteLike the other comments above...it is the kitchen that really stands out for me...though I love the rest of the apartment too. But I want a kitchen just like this one! Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteThis place is so serene - I love the white floorboards. Have a fab weekend, Nina! :) x
ReplyDeleteNice ! i love the corner near the windows...
ReplyDeleteBon week-end !!!

My is drawn directly to that butterfly chair. I have one (in white canvas) and I really think a leather cover would take it in a whole new direction. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeletej'adore!!!j'aime ce blanc...la lumière!!!
ReplyDeletehave a beautiful sunday...
I love it! It almost boarders on stark but it does not cross this line. This is not easy to pull off and you are correct it is a great way to make a small space look bigger. BTW following you know on Bloglovin.

Love this apartment! I spot an IKEA print, it's the map of Manhattan. How do I know? Because I own the same one ;) I still need to hang it though, it's leaning against the wall in our living room...Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
