Glamping, Cornwall style

Hi campers! I'm back, and what a week! Anyone in England and Sweden will tell you that the weather last month was attrocious - so we packed for rain and more rain. And guess what? The weather was hot, hot, HOT! Perfect for breakfast al fresco and surfing on Cornwall's finest beaches! Here are a few pics from the wonderful Polgreen Glamping complete with beautiful fields, Rosie the sheep, pigs, chicken, a nature trail and a wonderful little honesty shop stocked with produce from the local farms. Thank you Sarah and Simon for a wonderful stay!

I can warmly recommend this wonderful 'glamping' site, especially if you would like to get back to basics but with an added touch of luxury - double bed with a duvet in a tent anyone?

At the weekend I managed to catch the Olympic men's cycling in Richmond Park, London - which was so exciting! Now I'm totally into the Olympics, which is why i'm writing this post so late (I couldn't tear myself away!!).

It feels good to be back in sunny Sweden though and I'll be blogging daily again with lots of interior design inspiration, so pop back tomorrow!

It's always good to be home!

    1. Honestly Jen, it's such a fantastic place, you'd love it. It gets completely booked up as they only have 6 tents so you have to book really early! x

    1. You'd be fine! My youngest is 20 months too and she absolutely loved it. However, I've got to say it wasn't what the real campers would call camping - we had a huge tent (5 metres by 3 metres) and already set up for us on arrival. We all had beds and duvets too - a little bit of luxury in camping style! I couldn't do the full on camping thing either!! :)But trust me, out of all the things we've done with our little girls, this was the thing she has enjoyed the most!

  8. I have been dying to go glamping! I’m hoping that by staying in one of these beautiful tents, it won’t matter what the weather is. We’re planning a glamping trip at the end of August so I am off to check out this link!

  10. This looks like such an amazing place to go to for a family vacation. Totally getting back to basics and with amazing scenery. I think I would impose a no technology rule on the family if we went to this place (and then I'd secretly get on my iPad at night after the kids were asleep). The best part of your trip must be that you get to go back to Sverige during the absolut best time of year. I just stumbled on your blog and plan to follow as I have a real love for Sverige and my kids love to visit.

    1. Hello! One of the best things about this place was that there was no mobile reception, internet or TV - perfect!! You must let me know if you ever visit Southern Sweden and I'll send you some tips! Thank you for following :)

    2. I actually lived in Malmo for a couple months at one point and didn't understand a word anyone said. The last time my family was in Sweden, about 2 years ago, we spent 2 nights at the Renaissance Marriott in Malmo, great hotel. I really need to get them up through Lund when the flowers are blooming.
