The happy Swedish home of Elsa Billgren

Every now and then I come across a home which I get sooooo extra excited about. More often than not it's because there's something incredibly unique about it that puts a big smile on my face and makes me want to push the boundries in my own home. This Swedish space, belonging to TV host, blogger, stylist and lover of all things vintage - Elsa Billgren, her husband and cat in Stockholm is one of them. Orange smeg? Why not. Green velvet sofa - pass me the swatch. Pink and white piano? Well I hadn't thought about it before, but... . Move over monochrome, today is all about colour.

Home: Elsa Billgren / elsa.elle.se. Photographer: Beata Holmgren / Studio Emma Svensson. Shared with kind permission

What a fab home! Loving all the vintage finds - that farmhouse table - (try Etsy), the romantic florals in the bedroom. The plants!

Is there anything that stands out to you?

A note on where a few items are from: smeg fridge, round chopping board, green sofa, knit pouf, rattan side table.

You can see more pictures of Elsa's home on her blog Elsa.elle.se and also over on instagram.

Oodles more colourful home inspiration can be found in a Swedish home with a black floor and bold hues, a creative Parisien apartment and the happy home of a Dutch illustrator.

Have a wonderful day!

It's Fall! I think that is the reason for the interest in so much color! Thank you for the freshness and light! I really like vintage and colorful touches in a home.

Absolutely in love! I always steer clear of colour (there is safety in monochrome!) but this really makes me want to dabble

I wish it was me that had decorated this home - but no, it was Elsa Billgren - one talented lady!

I love Elsa's apartment!! I've always had lots of green plants in my home, ever since I was about eight or nine. They brighten up anything!
