A Swedish home in greys, white and black

In Sweden it's hard to get short of interior inspiration when you have estate agents that take such care over their home styling and photography. This Stockholm apartment is on the market through Fantastic Frank. They've cleverely bled the images to even out the colour scheme and brought the apartment to life by laying the table in the kitchen, and adding items such as the coffee cups on the coffee table and the shoes in the hall.

I love the grey tones and the original features such as the Kakelugn in the sitting room (love the horse cushion in the chair next to it too!). What about you?

In my home there are always many, many, many 'signs of life'.....:) one day I'll have a permanently tidy home, really I will. What about you?!

White and grey Stockholm apartment

I'm feeling a little worse for wear today with a temperature and everything :(  I was certainly cheered up by this Stockholm home though. Currently for sale through Fantastic Frank,  there are so many things to love about this small, yet charming grey and white apartment.

Fantastic Frank

I love the personalised soap bottle. I think I'll have to make a label saying 'Niki's shampoo' as the rest of my family seem to think my expensive hair care is shower gel, bubble bath or simply something to wash their dolly with!!

Anything that inspires you from this home?

I'm off for a short trip tomorrow. But  of course I'd never leave you high and dry! I've invited two of my favourite fellow bloggers to write very lovely and inspiring guest posts.

Have a lovely few days and see you Monday!

Finn's cute bedroom

Tonight I'm heading over to visit my friend's newborn baby girl (soooo excited!). In  preparation I thought I'd share this wonderful, calm grey, white and wood nursery designed by Sissy + Marley, a NYC based boutique baby planner and concierge service. So pretty!

I love the calm atmosphere! If you're planning a nursery, Sissy + Marley have put together a great 'get the look'. And remember you can always get 15% off items like the fab Eames Armchair RAR (rocking chair), with code MYSCAN here (only the best for our little crumpets!).

And exciting news, Apartment Therapy are holding their annual 'The Homies' blog competition and I've been nominated for 'Best home & design inspiration blog', I can't believe it! Thank you so much to everyone who has voted for little me  :), if you'd like to vote and join in the fun click here.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend (I'm recovering from a day's skiing at Vallåsen here in Skåne yesterday :).

Black, white, grey and a touch of apricot

Thank you so much to all my lovely guest bloggers - how on earth am I going to follow such a great week of blogging?! I'm very weary having just stepped off a flight from Las Vegas where I've been for work (have you been there? if so what do you make of it?!) and now, back to reality! Before I head off for some much needed sleep I had to show you a few pics from the shiny new spring summer collection from Danish firm, Tine K Home. As usual their collection is absolutely lovely. I love the touches of apricot and dusty pink.

Black, white and grey in Skåne

I promised I'd be back with a home tour, and this is the perfect home to kick off the week! It's the black, white and grey home of blogger, interior stylist and shop owner Daniella Witte here in Southern Sweden. First featured in Sköna Hem at the beginning of the year it has just surfaced again at Husligheter blog and I couldn't help but share it with further with you....

Daniella is so clever, I absolutely love her home, if I had to pick a room it would be the kitchen. Which room would you choose?

Tomorrow I've got such an exciting give-away coming up, so please stop by if you get the chance, I think you'll like it. :)

Bespoke furniture by Norwegian photographer Trine Thorsen

Hej hooo!! How was the weekend? Are you feeling as blurry eyed as me this moring?! If we think we've got a lot on, consider Trine Thorsen, Norwegian photographer, and now designer and producer (together with her boyfriend) of timeless, classic bespoke furniture including shelves, benches, wood storage etc. And when Trine isn't busy with that she's renovating her early 20th century Norwegian home. Phew!  Impressive! More projects anyone?!

If you're loving this furniture like I am, you can find out more info here. Have a lovely Monday! Klem! (as they say in Norway!)

Parisian artist's home in a former button factory

It's Friiiiiiiday! YAY! And to celebrate I thought I'd post the beautiful home of stylist Virginie Denny and artist Alfonso Vallés. If you love Elle Decoration UK or are an avid interior design blog reader you'll have seen this home, in a former 1920's button factory, before. There's even a You Tube clip of it! But I just couldn't resist sharing the pictures again for the weekend! There are so many great colours, vintage finds and 'green' touches. A wonderful piece of art in itself!

Photography Petra Bindel via Pure Green Magazine
There's an interesting piece in Pure Green Magazine, which focuses on how concrete flooring like this is actually very green. Check it out here! And see more pics of this beautiful parisian home here.
I hope you have a lovely weekend, any great plans?! Me, I'm off to a spa tonight with a friend - I love me a little luxury and pampering from time to time!
