I finally looked up from everything I've been doing and realised - Easter is just around the corner! Eeek, that snuck up quickly (especially considering it’s a late one this year). While I don’t have any pretty Easter decorations to share with you today (though I’ll pop some links at the end of the post), I do have a home tour that’s absolutely brimming with soft, spring-like pastels to get you in the Easter mood.
Think playful pops of pink, yellow, blue, and green sprinkled throughout the space—in blankets, lamps, shelving, vases, and more—bringing a vibrant, joyful energy that’s full of spring vibes. But what really stood out to me is the creative use of paint around the doorways. From a peachy arch to eggshell yellow architraves, the unexpected splashes of colour feel daring yet uplifting, drawing attention to the home’s architectural details and adding a unique, cheerful touch.
Ready to take a look around a Stockholm home that’s fully embraced the charm of spring and the spirit of Easter? This way!
This has really put a spring in my step! It’s got all the joyful vibes I associate with this time of year and has me in the mood for the weekend already. How about you?

Such a joyful home! The art gallery in the kitchen is so much fun! This home gives me ideas on how to incorporate color into my own home with lots of lovely layers. : > )
ReplyDeleteI am so happy the use of colour in this home has inspired you. It is so cleverly done!
DeleteWhat a fun and cheerful environment and their colorful artwork offers a lot to the effect. I love it when others are bold with color, such as they have been with their architectural features. I often second guess myself and stay safe, though I did have a yellow hued living room (color matched to F&B Dorset Cream) for many years that was always uplifting for the spirit. In a future home, I would consider trying “color drenching” in a moody color if such a space presents itself.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, Pamela; I also play it safe - maybe one day I'll go a little more wild with colour like they have done here, and I'm sure I'll never look back! I do like the sound of the sunny yellow you used.
DeleteDo you know what couch that is? LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a little like a Hay 'mags' sofa (Danish design).
DeleteThis 'rocking pastels' home could be targeting a specific group, is lightsome, cheery, imaginative with color. Noticed a sweet little yellow heart in the living room. Particularly liked the artwork, wooden stools and the extensive storage of different sizes in the bed room. Trevlig Helg:)
ReplyDeleteThank you for pointing all of these touches out - I'm happy you spotted so much to love about this home :)
DeleteI thoroughly enjoy seeing what you share every day. It is all very enchanting.
ReplyDeleteThank you, this makes me so happy!
DeleteSuch happy colors!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree - it really lifts the spirits!
DeleteThe skies have been grey today here in the midwestern U.S. and and the political situation is growing darker with each passing day. What a delight it was this morning to have my screen filled with these cheerful images ! Color and light can do so much to lighten one's spirits and offer respite (however momentary) from fear and gloom. Time to try a little playful painting in my own home. Thank you, Nikki.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy I could bring a little light to you - it sounds like some cheerful colours are just what we need in this worrisome time.
DeleteBeautiful pink blush
ReplyDeleteI love that hue too - spot on!
