I hope you all have a relaxing break planned over the easter holidays. My mother's coming over from London this evening and we'll be heading to Per's Dad's for easter, where the day will kick off with a sauna and dip in the sea - before egg rolling and an easter lunch!
If you'd like to add some last minute easter touches to your home, here are some DIY ideas:
And here's a recipe for a simple but delicious dish I make every easter.
I wrote a little about Swedish Easter traditions last year (in case you're curious). What easter traditions do you have in your country?
See you Tuesday 19th April.

ReplyDeleteEaster traditions in my area .... decorating eggs, for sure! Egg hunts, Easter baskets with goodies, a big dinner (we eat ham but I know that many people eat lamb) are the more "fun" traditions. From a religious perspective, we have many markers throughout the week, including Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter services on Sunday morning. When I was a kid it was common practice to have an outdoor sunrise church service but I haven't heard of anyone doing that in recent years (possibly because it's not unusual to have snow on the ground, depending on when Easter falls!).
