How incredible! And so inspiring for anyone looking to build a tiny house. Unless of course, you'd like to ask Romain to build one for you (more info here: P'tite Nid Mobile).
It made me think more about the little cabin we are building - which incidentally has suffered from a slight delay - apparently the foundation needs to breath for three months before we can kit out the interior. Even so, I hope the first spade will go into the ground within weeks. Exciting! More to follow soon!
Here are a few other truly inspiring tiny homes:

I'm heading over the bridge to Copenhagen today for 3 Days of Design. I'm so excited as I get to go 'abroad', tuck into Danish pastries (a given!) and experience some incredible Danish design. Winner! Keep an eye on my Instagram stories if you'd like to follow along!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Do you have a source for the terra cotta vase next to the bed?
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid not - I am guessing it's French, I'm not sure if it's local. Very beautiful - love the shape.
DeleteThank you forrelying. I'll keep looking!
DeleteThis is the best example of these tinny homes I have seen ever. So gorgeous inside and out, and super functional. Feels very large and spacious. Amazing job. Would live here in a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy you enjoyed this tour - it really is incredible!
DeleteHow lovely! A castle indeed.
ReplyDelete:) So true!
DeleteOh, that's wonderful. I could see myself living there.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you enjoyed this! I could live here too!
DeleteWOW!
ReplyDeleteI agree Miruska, I especially love the organic shapes both inside and out. And that deck, where the castle owner can peruse his estate! Such a happy little place.
ReplyDeleteFor sure. It's unusual to see an upstairs deck with these style of homes. They usually are maximised inside to use every inch of the space, so for them to give some of that up for a deck is amazing. so nice.
DeleteOooo woweee, this is absolutely amazing! #presscookieloves
ReplyDeleteThis is perfection. I would happily live there.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, I especially like the upper deck access, what an interesting use of the second loft space that tiny houses so often have. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely little cabin, and I am happy for the previously homeless man to have found his "castle".
ReplyDeleteHowever, the photos make me wonder if they from when the cabin was staged for sale, because I doubt that these are the man's actual possessions. It all looks very artsy/designer-y; and of course I am not saying that a previously homeless person cannot be interior design oriented and all that jazz, it just strikes me as a bit odd.
So fun to look through these pictures. The curves!!

ReplyDeletewhat a lovely house! I'm considering making one myself and this is definitely the best I've seen so far. Do you mind saying what the whole house has cost so far?
