Morroccan design meets Scandi-style

Touches of Moroccan design can be seen in many homes right now  - and there are some beautiful shops out there selling all kinds of wonderful, unique finds. One of my favourites is El Ramla Hamra meaning 'the red sand', inspired by the "red city" of Marrakesh and the sands of the beautiful Sahara in southern Morocco. Based in Holland, owners Salahdin and Melanie are passionate about finding special Moroccan products and creating their own designs. And when you see these pictures you'll know why I love the Etsy shop so much. I mean, who wouldn't want their home to look just a little like this?!

So inspiring!

I particularly love the Moroccan blanket with pom poms and Beni Ourain double poufs.

Is there anything that catches your eye?

A few inspiring homes with Moroccan touches (I'm on a roll now.... and hey, it's always great to get some ideas on how to incorporate the look into your own home, right?!): the boho home of Carley Summers, a wonderfully relaxed Skåne home and Tamsin Flower's cheerful London home.

Have a lovely day!

PS El Ramla Hamra also sells through their webshop here

PPS We're heading off into the Arctic by sailing boat for four days (exciting!) - follow my trip on instagram stories! I'm hoping to post tomorrow but just in case I can't get online from Europe's most NorthWesterly point have a great weekend!
