ReplyDeleteGreat work at www.absolutart.com! We love contemporary art, and our house has a lot of natural elements, so the palm piece would be an ideal addition.
ReplyDeleteSo many amazing works at Absolut Art. We have new decorated Scandinavian-styled home in white with touches of dark grey, black and wood. We still miss some art to give it more flavor and I adore that Palm Tree art and actually the play of light. Would be honored to have one at home.
ReplyDeleteoh this is so gorgeous! i've been trying to upgrade and streamline my art collection for a much more airy, minimal feel, and this would be the perfect addition!!
ReplyDeleteI like the Blue Water dots! https://www.absolutart.com/us/artwork-blue-water-dots-xl-by-ruvan-wijesooriya
ReplyDeleteI like nature at home. The Palm Tree artwork would be a perfekt match!
ReplyDeleteI love black and white photo details. And this one is amazing.

The palm tree artwork would be a perfect echo in black and white of whose are in colors in my garden.
ReplyDeleteThe beautiful palm print is just the modern touch my bedroom needs. I would love to welcome this art home!
ReplyDeleteThe palm tree artwork is certainly a very fashionable print, for me somehow comforting (I love nature motives) s well as a decorative minimalistic element in my home! :-) and I like the play of shadow and sun :-)
ReplyDeleteIt would add a much needed element of nature to my otherwise very utilitarian and military apartment. Beautiful!. Rachael
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this beautiful artwork in my living room, hope i´m lucky this time, love this artwork.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed browsing the Absolut Art website and love Ruvan Wijesooriva's photography -especially 'bleeding Sun in water' and 'Palm Tree'.Inspired by your blog I am putting together an Art Wall in my dining room. I only have one print, at the moment, which is looking very lonely! 'Palm Tree' would be the perfect addition. Keeping my fingers crossed that I will be successful!
ReplyDeleteWe are building a new home! The old pictures must go! Bring on photographic prints like the Palm Tree! Love that you can send a picture of your blank wall and Absolut Art will advise you on purchases!
ReplyDeleteI love! Besides being so minimalist perfectly represents the idea of summer, it would be like having it always ...
ReplyDeletei want it for a present for my brother's new app.
ReplyDeleteGreat site!
ReplyDeleteWe just moved into a new home six months ago, and it was built in the 50s. We've slowly been painting over the horrid yellow in every room with a bright white, and incorporating lots of black, white, and neutral elements into our home- and plants galore! I'm about to install a photo ledge and am short on prints- this one would be just lovely on that ledge.
I would love to win Ruvan's palm tree print, and use it as an inspiration piece to decorate my attic studio.
ReplyDeleteIn the three years we've owned our modest but adorable 50s cape cod, we've slowly been turning it into our home. Our living room has been the last (and frankly most difficult!) room to decorate and this beautiful print would certainly add a much needed boost to our otherwise boring living room!
ReplyDeleteLove this print!! I know just where I'd put it - right above my bed. That spot has been asking for something monochromatic but interesting for quite some time now. This certainly fits the bill!
ReplyDeleteI would love to hang it in my dinning room ♡

beautiful! So cosy and dreamy <3
ReplyDeleteMagnifique ! I just moved into a new loft in Montreal. The Palm tree would be my very first piece of artwork at home. And seeing a palm tree everyday could be a good way to keep myself sane during the bleak season here in Canada !
ReplyDeleteWow, the palm tree artwork is stunning! I'm moving back to the UK in July (from Australia), so I'd love to win as it'd give me a starting & focal point in my new apartment in Cambridge. I love this piece - https://www.absolutart.com/us/artwork-stjarnorna-follo-ned-och-himmelen-vek-undan-by-danilo-stankovic but think everyone else does too as it's sold out!

ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning piece of monochrome art that would sit pride of place in my new home. I especially love that while being clearly palm trees it also has a beautiful abstract quality as well. Go Absolut Art!!
ReplyDeleteI gravitate towards black and white photos and I have an empty spot above my bar cart! I like the simple, but graphic abstract look and I think this willmake a strong statement and fill the blank space.
ReplyDeleteTrees are around and inside our house,I just would love to see that inside forest grow ...
ReplyDeleteI'm a photographer and I love to have other people's work in my walls!
ReplyDeleteI had a major design and decor paradigm shift in the last six months and I am moving towards minimalism! On that note I am changing my gallery wall and I have no clue in minimalist art.. So this looooks like an awesome start!!! black and white wall art! You read about my journey on the blog! and join me as well!!
ReplyDeleteThe palm tree print would be perfect for my minimal Scandinavian style home, it would look absolutely lovely on the walls without making things too crouded. Also I just cannot resist anything botanical, the biologist in me just can't keep quiet!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, how exiting! I absolutely love palm trees and the way the sunlight shines through their leaves. Brings back lots of happy travel memories :-).
ReplyDeleteI already framed a few of my own palm tree photographs (in black and white to match other monochrome pieces in my home) but there is still plenty of room on the wall above my sofa, so Ruvan Wijesooriva's work is more than welcome here!!

ReplyDeleteWow, im glad i came across this website today (www.absolutart.com) . ( I guess, that goes with being happy Im subscribed to your mailing list ;) ). Now this site becomes one of my go-to website for art hunt whenever I need to refresh my home with new picture frame acquisitions. The reason why I want the palm tree print is because it brings a lot of childhood memories. I grew up in a tropical country (now living in London) with palm trees over my head. The art makes me feel nostalgic as you can see the sun coming through the leaves, and it just brings up those afternoon walks with my siblings from school. I remember, climbing up to one and took one of the withered leave branch, brought it home and used it to sweep the dry star apple leaves in our front yard and knowing that it doesn't really work, my mum appreciated my effort in trying to improvise with doing my household chores anyway :) I was 7 years old. I hope I win this art and add it to my nostalgic wall :) Thanks for this opportunity. Have a good one :)
ReplyDeletethe plam tree artwork is what I need to make my living room more lively, modern and optimistic. It would look lovely in the centre of the gallery wall, bringing us closer to nature and summer. Yes, that a would be a wonderful breath of fresh air for the place and everyone entering the room...
ReplyDeleteBecause my city, Barcelona, is full of them ... I'd like to have this exotic touch on my wall!
ReplyDeleteI've just moved in my newly renovated apartment and the walls are unfortunately still more or less blank. The Palm tree print would be a perfect start for a nice collection.

I am currently trying to put together a black and white picture wall in my living room, and am finding it harder than it looks to put pieces together that provide a variety of shading and textures yet all complement each other! This is exactly what I have been looking for as a centre piece. I love how despite being a simple image it is very striking and captures light and dark brilliantly.
ReplyDeleteI've just started to integrate more plants into my home and think that the Palm Tree print would look amazing on my bare walls! Also love the fact that it is in black and white :)
ReplyDeleteJust recently I have finished my cozy bedroom space, but none of the walls are yet decorated because I am still in the process of choosing the exact piece to hang on them, I think I would like to see Palm Tree over my bed. I reckon it would be a simple but also an exquisite piece that might bring my summer memories back during the spring, rainy days. The black and white details of palm tree leaves leave me just brethless.
ReplyDeleteWe're about to build a holiday house in the beautiful coastal village of Bridport, Tasmania, Australia. This would work perfectly with the neutral palette I have in mind!
ReplyDeleteDespite the fact that I love how the textures transcend the print, the palm tree also romantices childhood memories of tropical Australia (just recently devastated by cyclone Debbie). Thanks
ReplyDeleteI must confess, that some artprints are too conceptual or controversial for me. Which is good, that's what contemporary art is all about. BUT I really liked those 2 from 2 different artist:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.absolutart.com/us/artwork-cacti-3-by-jaakko-pallasvuo
And "This island is safe" by Lukas Gothman.
My walls never get enough ;)
I have a large space in the recently repainted stairwell of my house. This would look beautiful there!
ReplyDeleteIn the year since I've moved out of my dorm, I've started to shift away from small postcards tacked up around my walls towards larger, properly framed artworks– but accumulating those is a bit hard on a student's budget! This would be a helpful step towards more nicely decorated walls!
ReplyDeleteThe palm tree artwork will go great in my fusion of Scandi-Mediterranean home. Thank you for this great opportunity!
ReplyDeleteThey have amazing wall arts ♥
ReplyDeleteI have a picture wall in my appartment and there is a big free space left for this beautiful palm tree artwork :)
I would love the palm art- it would look fabulous and tropical in my south facing sunroom!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the process of making a gallery wall disguising of flat screen and the palm tree artwork would look great on that wall.

ReplyDeleteI live in Scotland and, with it being very cold, having this amazing palm print in my home would help me dream about warmer climates!
ReplyDeleteThe palm print would be proudly hung in our loving home as a reminder to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures in life, taking a long walk, enjoying the beauty of nature and seeking adventure for our little family!
ReplyDeleteA lovely daily reminder of the tropics, how calm and relaxed a palm tree sways in the wind, no worries in sight. This print would add a beautiful touch of nostalgia for hometown, Hawaii, amidst my European city apartment and a welcoming feeling to slow down and enjoy life. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hang it in my home office. It's nice to be surrounded by aesthetic objects while working
ReplyDeleteI love the composition of this piece! It would be a wonderful addition to my entry area, a calming welcome home.
ReplyDeleteI'm redecorating my home and this would be perfect in my guest room.
ReplyDeleteBecause I wanna feel the summer in muy swiss apartment.
ReplyDeleteLaura
I NEED some plant art for my walls and this is perfect. In the spring/summer all my plants go outside on my porch so this will keep a bit of nature inside.
ReplyDeleteThis striking print would definitely enhance the walls of my home. The wonderful contrast of light and shade on the palm leaves are so eye catching and uplifting. A great give-away and one I would love to win.
ReplyDeleteJust perfect for my empty walls.
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with palm trees, so this would be the perfect addition on my wall! :)
ReplyDeleteI just got married and my husband and I are in the early stages of making our house feel like a home! We would love to add this print to our semi-bare walls! We love how simplistic and organic it is!!
ReplyDeleteI love nature, greens and trees and find the Palm tree quite calming. Loving its understated power as well!
