A charming Stockholm flat divided into two

Hello! I hope you had a great weekend?! I thought I'd kick off the week with this wonderful home in Stockholm.  It's hard to see from the pictures but the 90 metres square space has been cleverly divided into two living areas - each with their own entrance - one for architect Maria Sahlstrand and one for her teenaged daughter Nelly.  The spaces have been beautifully decorated with a mix of vintage, contemporary and antique finds with pops of bright colours throughout. Let's take a tour...

Photographer: Patric Johansson (shared with kind permission). Stylist; Maria Löw. Found via House of C with thanks

For a city where apartments (and space) come at a premium, this is such a great solution, don't you think?!

I love how relaxed and homely this space is. I could totally see myself tapping away with my laptop in that kitchen nook this morning. How about you?

A few items I know and love: The Orsjo PJ50 is similar to the black lights in the kitchen, I also absolutely love theseKvist 6 light over the kitchen table. Eames DSW chair (15% discount with code SCANDIHOME). Ant chair. Source grey Gotland sheepskin rugs here. House Doctor rug. Seventy-tree circles print. This vintage nantucket basket bag is similar (and beautiful!). White linen bedding.

Other beautiful homes captured by Patric Johansson include a cabin in the woods (that dreams are made of) and a rustic retreat on Sweden's west coast.

Tell you what - shall we all just skip Monday and head to a cabin in the middle of nowhere and play cards? This one in the middle of a lake in Norway will do....?! You in?

Have a great start to the week!

PS I hope you liked my little present to you at the weekend (in case you missed it- there's a free 2016 calendar ready to be downloaded and printed off here!).
