Morning! It's soooo grey here in Southern Sweden, it's going to be one of those days when the lights need to be on all day. Is it the same where you are? Rather than fight it, I thought I'd embrace it. So here's the oh so beautiful Swedish apartment belonging to blogger and shop owner, Annie Lindgren of All is Pretty, recently featured in Plaza magazine. Void of colour. The space is the epitome of today's Swedish decor trend (in my mind anyway): graphical, monochrome and teeming with the latest wall covering must have: fashion photography. Who needs bright sunshine and colour anyway?!

What a great space?! Anything you love about it in particular?
I've been having a look around the web to find the best black and white fashion photography prints and found this and this site, Can you suggest any others?
Items I know and love from Annie's home: Cross blanket, Knoll Diamond chair and Tulip dining table. Similar prints to the Andy Warhol quote (by the bed) available on etsy. AJ Table lamp. Linen bedding. Some of the items you see can also be found in Annie's shop.
Keen to see more? How about this creative studio and this and this home also shot by Kristofer Johnsson.
Have a lovely day!
Great blog, Thanks you for sharing

DeleteThank you so much for your lovely post! Makes me really happy this grey and moody day.. :) And thank you too Maria! The coffee table is from EM Möbler, i think it called Troy..

Hi Annie, so pleased you liked the post, you have a beautiful home. Apparently it's the darkest November we've ever had in sweden! :( Your apartment definitely brightened up my day though, so thank you for that! Incidentally, where did you get all your fashion photography prints from?
DeleteThank´s again! It´s a mix from fotografiska, moderna museet and some of them is cut out from different fashion magazines and framed ;)

It is awesome how IKEA design works =), like it. And I am happy when I see some things we have at home on pictures on internet, like the piles of magazines, posters, glass covers etc.. ^_^

Incredible, I just don't know how people manage to keep a monochrome theme going! If someone brings a rubix cube around it's ruined, RUINED!
ReplyDeletewow! Totally great interior!
