Hello! And happy start to the week to you! The gloves were out today in Sweden (sorry for this continuous obsession with the weather...I am British after all!). BRRR! I could see myself retreating indoors and padding around this beautiful Gothenburg apartment today. I particularly love the kitchen with it's blue cabinets (you can find similar leather door handles here), light grey marble work surface, white walls and original parquet floor. And the touch of mid-century in the sitting room too. What a great space, don't you think?!

Anything you love in particular about this home?

Gorgeous - inside and out, but I'm still not a fan of the little leather pulls. I know I'm always cleaning kitchen drawer handles and the area behind them with a bleach product, but how would you clean leather? The last photo of the apartment plaza made me gasp it was so beautiful. What a lovely way to live!
ReplyDeleteI love the wood floor!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I wouldn't choose leather pulls myself, but I love the colors and finishes in the kitchen. Those floors are stunning and did you see that trim? So beautiful. And you can talk about the weather all you like. Fine by me. :)
ReplyDeleteThat blue colour make it so nice different.. And I also like that mirror!

That kitchen! In fact the whole place looks gorgeous! I'm also glad to hear I'm not the only one who regularly harps on about the weather, as you say, it comes with being British!
ReplyDeletei really love this kitchen. the navy blue bottom cupboards are such a nice alternative to the ever popular black and white. lovely!
ReplyDeletethat mirror in the kitchen/dining area!!!! oh goodness me, it's beautiful!!!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing

love, love love the light fixture. looks like 2 metals -- chrome and brass, maybe.
ReplyDeleteany idea who makes it?
thanks so much
Love it. It is just perfect. I love how every cupboard is kept away from the baseboard, showing how pretty the baseboards are. I like the print with the hare (or rabbit?) and the mask in the livingroom. Also the sink in the bathroom is pure perfection.
ReplyDeleteThe only gripe I have is the couch, the armrest on the left is obviously so they can watch TV comfortably, but if it were on the other side, you have a more spacious outlook into/ through the house. But it is a wonderful couch (by Citterio) and everything is really chosen with great taste.
Thank you. Simone
I liked the chandelier and the mirror in the dining area. http://www.europeancabinets.com/kitchen-design/
