I love this pretty apartment in Copenhagen. The owner, Othilia Thalund (Nordic agent for Meridiani and owner of interior shop Othilia Decor) has lived in many places with her two children, some of which have been huge in comparison, but this light and airy fisherman's house with sea views resonates with her the most. The home is decorated with items she has collected over the years and combines Italian design with ethnic influences and Scandinavian simplicity. So beautiful!

This is my dream home with it's wonderful location by the sea, sense of history and beautiful interior! What about you?
PS A bit random but does anyone know where I can buy a white four poster bed ('himmelsäng') in Sweden?! :)
Have a lovely day!
Such a gorgeous home! I love the pictures. I'm pretty sure i would fel very relaxed there, and also loving looking at all those travel-treasures.
ReplyDeletei've always had white bedding, but that gorgeous gray cover on that bed looks so soft and inviting. especially with all the white in the rest of the house. gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGreat timing! I just stumbled upon this "himmelsäng": http://www.ellos.se/ellos-home/himmelsang/239037?N=1z141vvZ1z141ll&rcnt=100&Ns=RankValue5|1&Nao=82
ReplyDeleteI've read many interior design blogs over the years, but yours is the only one I keep coming back to. Thank you for always creating such beautiful posts.
Great tip, thank you! And thank you so much for your lovely words about my blog too - so happy to hear you like it!
DeleteReally stunning in its simplicity - love all the white! For the bed, how about IKEA?? ;-)
ReplyDelete*sigh* It's perfect in every way! And it's by the sea! The open shelving in the kitchen is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely!
ReplyDeletei love the idea of open shelving. I'm afraid that i wouldn't be able to stock it in the pretty the way these homes do.
ReplyDeleteHarmony cold for someone else would be the perfect comfort!
ReplyDeleteI can't blame you, this house is indeed a beautiful space to live in. It just goes to show that the color white brings out the classic yet modern touch when combined with some elements. The timeless appeal of this scheme adds a comfortable atmosphere on the space. Where do you plan to build this dream house of yours?

Oooo, it would have to be either on the English SouthWest coast or on the Swedish west coast. Somewhere rugged, wild and beautiful :)
