It's Friday, yaaaay! To polish off an inspiring week of home tours I thought I'd share this extremely fabulous home in Berlin with you. Found via the wonderful blog 79 ideas and published here with kind permission from the photographer Stefan Wolf Lucks and the architect Karhard, this home which is made up of two apartments merged together is teeming with some of my favourite Scandinavian pieces. I also love the way the rooms have been divided up (painted rustic wood wall anyone?!). What a great home!

If I had to choose one thing I love the most about this home (apart from the beautiful light and airy space) it would have to be the colours in the bedroom; the dark green with the red and orange. Such a pretty combination.
What about you?
So, now it's time for the weekend! We're just going to hang out this weekend and (hopefully) enjoy the sunshine. I might even brave the sea (18C Brrrr!). What are you up to?
We have vinyls too so I always check how they storage them and where the players are...home made shelf would be best...
ReplyDeleteGreat apartment, I love the rustic wood walls and the bold blocks of colour. Have a good weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI love how spacious and light flooded the apartment is. Now I have to think of my 32 square meters apartment...and shed a tear:-)
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! But I've seen snippets of your apartment on your blog and it's FAB so no need Igor!
DeleteNow my home is also in Berlin but hmm somehow it doesn't look like this one...maybe in the future, because its really great:)
ReplyDeleteLOVE that turqouise and white!! xo Caroline
ReplyDeleteI knew this apartment before, because there is a German Living Community called "So leb' ich" - That's how I live [http://solebich.de - maybe a little inspirational source for you :)] and the owner of the apartment is a member of it..
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend ☼
Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI really like the dividing wall - very well done, especially the scale.
The kids and I are off to a Strawberry Festival here on Cape Ann (north of Boston) in the town of Hamilton. Finally the rain has stopped.
It looks all nice and all but what about outside of the house? I can imagine that it looks a bit like these new homes for sale in Calgary. Now that would be somethin'.
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiring place, thanks for the share!
ReplyDeleteGood weekend. X
This flat is so wonderful. Sort of my dream home.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!
oooh my favorite part is the painted floors and the way each room picks a color and runs with it.
ReplyDeleteI´m a huge fan of Scandinavian, bright and simple decor. My favorite is the white painted wooden floor, love it!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a relaxing weekend! :)

Why do I always feel like REPAINTING my entire home with white paint every time I visit your site?!!! Hmmmmm! ;)
ReplyDeleteI really like the pops of color against the white. Normally that's a bit too modern for me, but they've kept it really relaxed.
ReplyDeleteI love the dining table, do you know what kind it is ? Thx Charlotte
ReplyDeleteHi Charlotte, unfortunately not, I had a good look around when I did the post but couldn't find it anywhere, perhaps someone else knows? It's very cool.
DeleteYes, very cool. Loke your blog very much :-)
DeleteI love the wooden wall! It's really fantastic! Many Greetings from Austria!
ReplyDeleteHi, do you have references for the paints used throughout this home? Many thanks!
