Friday people - woohooo! Here's an apartment in Stockholm (to complete the Swedish house tour week!). Recently sold, the home was renovated by previous owner Pella Lundquist. The are many beautiful elements but to me the dining space is the area which stands out with the wishbone chairs and dining table. What about you?

I'm sooo excited as we're off on holiday tomorrow to visit my sister and her family. I love visiting the island of Mallorca its really beautiful and offers so much to see and do. And with any luck it'll be warm and sunny too! Have you been?
I'll still be blogging while I'm away. Since I'm hoping I'll be spending a lot of time outdoors I'm planning an alfresco inspired blog week kicking off with an exciting give-away on Monday so don't forget to stop by!
Have a lovely weekend all and see you Monday!
I find so much to love about this apartment! To name but a few things: wishbone chairs, Yves Marchand's and Romain Meffre's picture of crumbling Lee Plaza Hotel in Detroit, wood paneling, grey kitchen and retro chairs in the living room...Thanks for posting this beauty!
ReplyDeletethe chairs at dining room, they r amazing!! the flowers completed the beauty of this room :-)
ReplyDeletei love the moldings and white walls together. and I love the square tiles in the kitchen...kind of a nice change from the rectangular subway tiles that are everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI like the mixing between white and wood coloured furniture!

DeleteWhat I ment to say is I do as well love the mixing between white and wood. I also love that floor. Although I do not have any outdoor space of my own I am looking forward to your alfresco week next week. I just love reading this blog once I'm done work for the day.
DeleteI have that same color grey cabinets down below and white on top. Love it!! Jana @ 333 Days of Hand Lettering

ReplyDeletelove the wishbone chairs with the white table and all the eclectic rugs -really nice! Have an amazing time in Mallorca! oh i love Spain! take some photos, would love to hear more about it, enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the crispy and bright feel the white walls give!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering what colour of white do the people use? Is it just plain, plain white? Because here, in the Netherlands, people are always advised to use a white with a hint of yellow/orange. If you would use just plain white it can give a blueish, cold hue. Is that true?
I'd love to get the same crisp feeling but I don't want a house that feels cold.
Can anyone tell me?

Love those Santa & Cole tripod floor lamps, they look truly stunning. Haven't seen this colour in any shops in Brisbane yet but was fortunate to grab a red one on sale from these guys - http://www.primaluce.com.au/replica-santa-cole-tripode-floor-lamp/
