Danish apartment: monochrome and wood

I'm never one to miss out on a beautiful black and white home. This apartment in Østerbro, Copenhagen, photographed by Gaelle Le Boulicaut is oh so fabulous in monochrome and cognac.

With kind permission from photographer Gaelle Le Boulicaut via French By Design blog

Of course it helps that the owners have kitted out the home with lots of  fab designer pieces such as the Vitra Plywood Group LCM dining chairs, Eames RAR rocking chair and the Occasional LTR coffee table (15% with MYSCAN code - perfect!). The Wood Table Lamp by Muuto is also pretty cool (and a possible contender for my bed side table).
What a lovely home?!

In the words of Queen 'I want it all.....'.

  4. Another monochrome stunner. I love that desk nook, though I know i'd have problems concentrating with the view both outside and in. :) And a language question for you: how does one pronounce the o with the slash through it?? I've always been so curious!

    1. It is pronounced 'er' (rhymes with 'her' (using an UK accent so you don't pronounce the r) - it's the same as the swedish ö. :)

  10. I'm gonna move in with my boyfriend this summer there is no chance he would talk me off having an apartment like this. I love the pendant and Muuto lamp. I think I can live in empty spaces surrounded by lamps, haha
