Danish home with a romantic side

Morning all! I was so excited to discover this Danish home as it was a while ago I featured a space with a soft romantic side. The home itself is beautiful in it's simplicity (original features, white canvas with brown accent). However, the chandelier and shabby chic style mirror in the sitting room, soft floral cushions in the bedroom and a candelebra with floaty lace curtains in the bathroom adds such a pretty, floaty feminine touch.

We're currently moving our entire bedroom up one flight of stairs into a 40 metres open plan space - so exciting! I'm obivously driving my man nuts with all my bedroom moodboards! But I'm still a little stuck - do we go modern scandinavian or antique, floaty, romantic? Perhaps somewhere in between?

Do you have two styles you can never choose between?!

  1. I mix the styles at home, that´s what makes it more personal I think, although it do look more put together when staying true to one style...

  5. I feel like I'm constantly going back and forth between French country/Provincial and Scandinavian modern/all-white. There has to be a happy marriage of those two styles, right? I think this house really comes close. Good luck with your new bedroom move! Anxiously awaiting the before & afters :) xoxo

  7. I juggle between industrial and romantic. What a pair, I know! A little bit of both in a simple Scandinavian way works best for me. Oh, and I love anything Moroccan but haven't been able to incorporate that into our home... at least not yet. :)

  8. Kudos to the owner of the house because it looks very classy and elegant that makes me want to buy a house and decorate it with same design element. The white color of the walls make everything so neat and tidy! Plus, I love the fact that they mix and match the modern and Victorian style furnitures together. Great job!
