Give-away: Washi Tape

Hejsan! When I was in Tokyo last week I picked up some pretty Japanese Washi tape and I'm giving-away four reels of this to one of my wonderful readers! Washi tape is traditionally made from paper and is slightly translucent and is decorated with pretty colours and patterns. It's a fab way to put pictures up on a wall or use in arts and crafts....

They´re really inspiring, specially when writing regular letters/ sending packages to friends overseas, a washi tape is amazing to funk-up packages.

  14. Hi,
Thanks for the chance to win. Glad you had a good trip! I wasn't sure about it...until I got a roll and now think it's brilliant! I'd love more rolls but they are pretty expensive in the UK.

  15. I love tape so much. At first I bought just a few rolls and I loved looking at their patterns, peeling a little off to stick somewhere. Adding tape to something instantly brightens the object and gives it that little bit extra that is always hard to find. Now I have a small drawer full of tapes and I am always on the hunt for my next addition!

  19. I was about to comment anyway... I love washii tapes. They are so versatile-you can make pictures with them or make pictures pop out. I'd never thought I'd want to use sticky tape to put pictures up, but these are truly the cutest. And I'm planning to use them in wrapping gifts too.. little color to plain brown bag for example :)

  37. Why I love washi . . . oh let me count the ways. Seriously, this post would never end if I were to count them, but foremost (for this week anyway) Washi tape allows me to be my wishiest-washiest best self. It's all about changing things up. This weeks it's some Ikea glass jars in my cupboard. Rather than paint them with chalk paint I just wrapped them with a dash of colored tape, labeled what's in the jars right on the tape, and now can change them out any time I feel like it (or not, if I don't feel like it, as well--why else would they be called washi[y]?).

  41. I have one washi tape and I use it for just everything. It makes my day and everything around me happy, but unfortunately it is way too expensive to buy in the Netherlands for a student. The dots and stripes are really beautiful, so I love to win them.

  42. I love using washi tape for my smash book! It's a great addition to a picture or the edges of a page. The different patterns really can transform a picture

  43. I think washi tape is such a fun way to hang up pictures that you know don't have a permanent spot in the house but you want to enjoy for the time being! Simple and beautiful!
