What's up in Oslo

Hello, HELLO! Why not let's visit Oslo today? And a beautiful old apartment that was for sale recently as shown on La maison d'Anna G's wonderful interior design blog. Unsurprisingly the apartment was quickly snapped up! I like the black, white and chocolate brown colour scheme, especially the clever use of chocolate brown on the ceiling in the kitchen. You can only really get away with a dark coloured ceiling if it's very high.

Patterned tiles seem to be popping up everywhere at the moment. Just like the stunning bathroom floor in a previous post. You can buy similar at Made a Mono. Search Lauritz for a similar vintage herb and spices cabinet. Try the Ekby Järpen wall shelves from IKEA.

Buy beautiful portrait prints at Etsy. Shelves, as above. Source a Moka silver coffee pot at Habitiat. The retro look wall tiles are also extremely popular now, try Fired Earth 'Retro Metro' for tiles with the same dimensions as the London Underground.

The butterfly string lights are from Habitat. I have the same ones on the headboard of my little girl's Minnen bed from IKEA, they look so pretty and cosy all lit up!  I love the wood panelled wall painted brown, it creates a really warm mood.
