A calm, cocoon-like Swedish space in greys

Morning! For those of you feeling a little 'meh' this Monday - I've got a home that might just cheer you up. Now, you might be thinking - hang on - this home has been decorated almost entirely in grey how on earth is this going to work?!....But look closer and see the beauty of this monochrome look.  There is something irresistibly calm and elegant about the effects grey has on a space. Despite the small size (it's a one room apartment / studio in Gothenburg, Sweden) it's sophisticated, organised and has everything you need.  What a great way to start the week?!

I take this apartment as evidence that although white can make a space larger, grey can provide an unrivalled, cosy cocoon like feel - like a mini oasis. Although I've gone for a more graphical black and white look (and a splash of colour in my daughters' bedroom) in my home - I can certainly appreciate a space decorated in grey - how about you?

At this time of year I absolutely love a linen tablecloth (I've got my eye on this duck egg one). Other items I know and love in this home include the grey floor lamp, DLM table, morrocan pouf, spotty cushion, floral print, eos pendant light, menu chair, thonet chairs.

If you prefer a bright and colourful home - you might want to check out this vibrant family home and little Nicki's cheerful boho home.

Have a great start to the week!
