Art & Vintage finds in a Chicago loft

While searching for a great print for my kitchen this week I realised finding the right art is one of the hardest things for a home. Art is so personal, and it's often a big investment (unless you decide to produce your own, which I've done here and there in my own place with various results!!). But this wonderful home of Chad and Margot in Chicago, featured in Design Sponge, get's it just right. I love the vintage touch too.

Do you have any great tips on online shops for wonderful wall art?

Have a fab weekend everyone!

Another great find....Love the scissors hanging on the wall, would love to buy lots of art but sadly can't really afford it! x

I know what you mean. Mind you, being as creative as you are I'm sure you create plenty of your own art, or at least should. I love your illustrations!

Oh my, I love that 'Coffee makes you black' sign and need it in my life asap. Not to mention the Cosby vinyl. Great place altogether. /Mimi

The balloon art in the second pic is my favourite. I can't really justify spending loads on art so I tend to stick to vintage travel posters, etsy finds and art I find at flea markets, it's makes for a bit of a jumble but I love it!

What a great space! Love their eclectic art collection and the exposed brick makes for a nice backdrop.
