It's no secret Scandinavians love Swedish String shelving (just look at all these homes!). And now I've teamed up with String to offer you the chance to win your very own Pocket shelves in a colour of your choice. Yes, really! And better still, it only takes a second to enter, see below for details.

    I'd love an all white one of these for my daughter's nursery. I'd display her Beatrix Potter books, the money box my grandmother gave her, and a few beautiful knickknacks by Iittala and Arabia that need to be kept out of reach until she's a little older.

    Hi! What a great giveaway! I would really like to enter this giveaway and have the opportunity to win the beautiful white sting pocket. During our holidays, we always collect nice mementos of our holiday. Right now all these products are among the books in the bookcase because we don't have another cabinet to display them.     I absolutely love this! I would put my little cacti and succulents up there with my small vases and glass teapot. It would be a perfect addition to my kitchen!
    I'd definitely go for the grey. It would stand out against my very white walls and compliment my monochrome house so well!

    I've a sad space on the wall in my home office where I'd love an all white String Pocket. And what would I display? Why, something different every season: a trailing pathos, my new brass bud vase, a few key books. Then switch it up with a photo of my kids, their latest craft project piece...all sorts of delights to stare at and break up a dull day working from home!

    Definitely a white one... my parents owned a blck one with dark wood but threw it away a few years ago. So sad!

    These shelves are great! In three months I'm moving in into my new apartment (my first own apartment) and I can't wait to start decorating it. And your blog is very inspiring.
    I would choose the ash/white combination. I imagine I would put there some books (picking up just a few from my increasing collection), a flower maybe and a wooden box for bits and pieces. I wouldn't put too many things on the shelves to keep the impression of lightness.

    I would love a completely white one. I would hang it by the window above my desk, and put my succulents in the lower shelf so I can see them while working and they get enough sun. On the upper shelves I would put my diary and other (note)books and a picture of my family, who I live far away from!

    Been coveting shelving from the String system for awhile now. My first reaction is to go for the green. But the white/white will always have a home no matter how my style or wall colors change over the years. I'd install the shelves right above my Normann Copenhagen white Block Table bar cart and use them to display the glassware that's currently hidden in our cabinets. Right now we use:

    - 7 and 9 oz. Hard Strong Stacking Glasses
    - 15 oz. Orskov Honest Drinking Glasses
    - this ribbed sake set we got on sample sale at Design Within Reach

    Hi!!! Lovely giveaway, I just adore String. I would definitely like to have the white version, with the following items:
    -For the top shelf: one Skultuna flower pot in shiny brass with a green plant and hanging leafs, and a couple of Nappula brass candleholders by Iittala in two different sizes with white modern candles.
    -Middle shelf: Hay boxes in different sizes, not too many.
    -Lower shelf: my bedside books and the Lexon Flip white alarm clock by DesignWright.

    Underneath I would love to have a small sideboard with white fronts and brass hangers by Superfront.

My favourite color is white, to go beautifully with a white wall, and I would place my favourite possession on the Pocket shelves: books given as gifts with beautiful covers (The Wes Anderson Collection, for example), the cutest ceramics by Charlotte Mei, a potted plant.     I have been thinking about getting one of these for years. We have a large scary white wall in our kitchen. I think a white/walnut one would look great. But what to go on it? I can never get things to look good ( as they always so effortlessly do on your blog) so I'd have to do some careful research. But definitely some of the 60s china from my childhood.

    White - minimal icon of nordic style. It could dissapear if you but black or bright objects and functional at the same time. It would ne perfect to become the part of my home office, where I have String desk in white, too:)

    White for the bedroom, grey above my desk, white again for the kitchen - both colours are great... White is more universal so I´d go for this color if I had to make my choice. Anyway - I would display my favorite pieces (candles, boooklets, photos, little plants) and I would change the display occassionaly, I guess.. Great giveaway, thank you!
