Hello there! With the arrival of spring yesterday I had to show an apartment showing proof of the pools of sunlight we're finally enjoying! This black and white Stockholm apartment is for sale through Fantastic Frank and sits high up over Vasastan. The style is quite masculine and minimalist. My favourite space is the bedroom and the reading corner on the balcony (now that it's spring!). What about you?

I also nipped into Goerg Jensen to see the new flagship store display (which has become my first My Scandinavian Home instagram image! Yes, I've FINALLY joined instagram....haha sooo late to the party!) and my favourite design store Stilleben. One of my favourite parts of the day though was sitting outside for lunch with a glass of wine and a magazine in the sunshine- luxury!
The light shining through into the home is wonderful. I really love how much nature there is Scandinavian homes. It really makes the home come alive.
ReplyDeleteI'm off to follow you on IG now. x
There's only one picture on my IG account so far! ...but I'm working on it :)
DeleteI love the black and white chair! The whole apartment is lovely though. You lucky things with spring in the air. We're heading for winter....
ReplyDeleteLove that terrace. You are not the last to join I haven't joined yet, keep thinking I should but not sure I have the time to add something else to my list of things to do!!
ReplyDeleteHow great, my next vacation will be in Copenhagen, too and I'm affraid to get bankrupt when I hit the Hay store ;) The apartment is so nice, really a summery mood.
ReplyDeleteYou will love it!!
DeleteCrushing on that chair!
ReplyDeleteLove a Stockholm apartment with a balcony! And I know, the Hay store is fab! And with a great view! xo Caroline
ReplyDeleteI was at the Hay House last Wednesday for the second time. Always the same wonder. OMG...
ReplyDeleteDid you leave feeling just a little bit sad that your entire home couldn't look like their showroom?! That's how i felt on the way out! :)
DeleteI love Cph... Simply fabulous!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very elegant but warm at the same time :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this space. I love the idea of a daffodil in a pot. I do think the living room lacks enough texture for me personally but in all I wish the place was mine.
ReplyDeleteI live in Copenhagen, just down the street from all those shops and I STILL get excited when I visit! Glad you had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeletejust the view only takes the breath away, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVet du vart den fina svartvita tavlan kommer ifrån? :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately not - does anyone else know where the black and white print is from?
DeleteI have to agree that this apartment is quite masculine, but its minimalistic appeal can pass for a woman's taste as well. The black and white theme gave the place a clean and sophisticated atmosphere. The fixtures provided a serious touch, but they are relaxing at the same time. I guess it's the color that gave the balance to the whole space.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what kind of bed that may be? It looks very similar to the mattress foundations from IKEA. I've been looking around for a bed like this one, but I'm not sure if there is another company, other than IKEA, that makes such a bed.
ReplyDeleteOne word: perfect...
