With all the snow blanketing the ground outside I'm in the mood for an all white interior (who am I trying to kid....I'm always in the mood for white!). This apartment is currently for sale in Stockholm and is a great lesson in how to design a studio space. I love the blend of light grey marble, galvanised steel and the natural wood / cognac accent. Beautiful!

very happily!!
ReplyDeletewonderful, loving all the brown and wooden accents.
ReplyDeletewhere on earth do they store all their clothes and stuff?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same: I like the decoration but... the clothes? books?
ReplyDeleteHaha! I know, it looks like they hardly have any belongings in these pictures, you are absolutely right - but if you click through to the credit - Erik Olsson (under the last picture) you can check out the other pictures which shows shelves and clothes hanging space. However, there's still not much, don't think I could manage I have to much clobber! :)
DeleteIn fact, I'll update the post a little as perhaps it's a little mis-leading! - there's minamilist and there's minamilst!
DeleteTypical Scandinavian home! Love the rug in front of the sofa and shoe storage boxes.
ReplyDeleteAmazing studio!!, all that light is fantastic and everything is so well put, I love it!

Lovely studio, I'd happily live here. Feels like I could truly breathe there :)
ReplyDeleteOh, in a heartbeat. Studios are my favorite; you have to be so much more creative with the layout and function of everything you bring in. And this one looks massive thanks to all that white! In love. xo
ReplyDeleteWow.....I don't know why but I love great use of space. I think it must be the challenge of making it visually appealing whilst also practical. That mini partition wall is great! Usually I'm not convinced when it comes to studio flats but this is gorgeous, I'd live there in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteAre they minimalist on dressing as well? :)
ReplyDeleteBut it's a lovely space and... oh the light in the house. Perfect.
Hahaha :) - it is very styled for selling, it's a little like my home when I have guests (everything crammed into cupboards everywhere!).
DeleteI love it! I find it very difficult to create such an amazing space like this in a few square metres. I really like the table: so elegant and modern at the same time.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and practical.

oh, my! just lovely. I am really digging their pantry storage as a rolling, industrial baker's rack. We were actually going to buy one of these last year for a big job we were working on (crafts, arg) but I didn't want to get it then have nothing to do with it -- now I see!! So easy to clean and organize. Also the boots in the shelves are GREAT. I want a totally bootcentric shelving unit!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely beautiful interior design.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! This is an awesome home! This wonderful blog certainly has made my day.
