A serene, white home with vintage pieces

Morning! I must say, I feel like a different person this morning after my wonderful weekend at Varberg Asia Spa. If you're in need of some R&R I could seriously recommend this incredible spa in Varberg, Halland on the Swedish West coast (do the over night package!). As a result, here's a beautiful, white, serene home from the UK which perfectly fits my mood this Monday morning. I love the vintage touches and Scandinavian feel (of course!).  I recognise the kitchen from the Delicious Miss Dahl cookery show featuring former model Sophie Dahl.

Via French By Design with thanks!

Oooh to sit on one of those chaise longue's in this day room and relax with a magazine in the sun light. IKEA's EKTORP chaise longue is like this. Wonderful!

PS - Thank you so much to Gosia from the wonderful blog Majology for nominating me for the Liebster Blog Award, you've made my day!

Have a lovely day!

Parisian artist's home in a former button factory

It's Friiiiiiiday! YAY! And to celebrate I thought I'd post the beautiful home of stylist Virginie Denny and artist Alfonso Vallés. If you love Elle Decoration UK or are an avid interior design blog reader you'll have seen this home, in a former 1920's button factory, before. There's even a You Tube clip of it! But I just couldn't resist sharing the pictures again for the weekend! There are so many great colours, vintage finds and 'green' touches. A wonderful piece of art in itself!

There's an interesting piece in Pure Green Magazine, which focuses on how concrete flooring like this is actually very green. Check it out here! And see more pics of this beautiful parisian home here.
I hope you have a lovely weekend, any great plans?! Me, I'm off to a spa tonight with a friend - I love me a little luxury and pampering from time to time!

Props and trading house of a mid century collector

And today for something completely different...the home and temprary showroom of 1900 - 1950's collector Alketas Pazis in Athens, Greece. For those of you who love mid-century collector items, I think this home and props and trading house is breathtaking!

If you have a little more time today (it's soooo worth it!) you can see more pics and a really interesting article about Alketas Pazis on Yatzer. And find out more about all the items in his props and trading house here.

Spring has sprung with Danish online shop Tine K Home

Last Saturday I was invited to a viewing of the spring / summer 2012 collection from Danish brand Tine K Home at their Swedish showroom in Magasin 36, Höganäs. I had such a lovely time and LOVED the new Tine K Home collection. You must check it out at the online shop, if you're like me you'll really like the mix of greys and whites. LUSH!   It was also wonderful to meet the Tine K Home team - thank you Anita, Tine, Stine, and Sanna!

Happy shopping with the danish brand! Dangerous, but oh so worth a visit! Oh and I have been meaning to visit the shop Magasin 36 for ages which certainly didn't disappoint - so many FAB vintage / industrial finds, if you're in or around Höganäs near Helsingborg it's well worth a visit! Have a lovely day!

Graceful Finnish apartment with pretty ideas

This home of Lotta Neiminen Helsinki, Finland is wonderful. Very graceful and understated. I love the way Lotta had used fresh flowers everywhere to bring the season in and add a touch of colour. I must head to the florist tomorrow!
