  40. The Robin. My father passed away two years ago, and in his early fifties. We both love(d) birds. I see them all the time and often think of him, like he's sending me messages. There is a sweet family of robins living on the outside light of my neighbors. I delight in the fact that I get to watch the mama feed her little ones. I know my dad would have loved it. My father was also a talented artist and would have loved "The Robin". Such a sweet little art piece that I would love to display in my home. Thanks for the opportunity to try to win :)

  46. I think the print of the lavender stalks is lovely. I love lavender because it reminds me of my Grandmother Myrtle whose sheets smelled like lavender. We went to visit her on her farm in the summer when I was a child. I vividly remember quietly creeping down the stairs to go into her room, early in the mornings. . When she raised up the sheet for me to climb into snuggle with her,the scent of lavender wafted over me. I also vividly remember that she had her teeth in a glass of water on the bedside table... but there are no prints of dentures.
